Falling apart

I am just sad watching a close friend's family fall apart. She has been suffering of being an verbally abuse wife and now wanted to end their marriage. Very upsetting watching the kdis suffer also. As a mom, we always wants the best for our kids but if you are in a bad relationship, I think it is the best for everybody is to end the relationship. I know it is hard for the kids also watching their parents fighting all the time.

Now my friend is totally move on and I know she is a tough woman and can handle all this. She stayed with us for a week and now she move in to her other friend where the house is closer to her daugther's school.

I told her to just call me if she needs help.

Philippine vacation.

I am just so excited for the next vacation in the PH. I know it will be in a little while but I am now start saving for it. I want to spend at least 2 months that time and my kids will be bigger by then so we'll be enjoying this trip as much as we did last time.

Maybe John will just stay here in the USA coz he hates travelling and for sure I can handle two adult kids this time.

Philippines, here we go again.... not now though..LOL

Labor day Monday

It's Monday and have a day of of work today and my husband as well. We want to do something like barbecuing or just have fun together since we always busy at work in the past days. Now, I have to get something to cook or be resourceful, open the freezer and cook whatever we have here to save some money.LOL

Old photos

Pictures of the past brings back the memory and the happenings you had and sometimes it makes you frustrated especially when you looked skinny before than you are now. I can't believe myself I was that skinny but when I saw the picture which shared from an old friend, it just gave a smile on my face and wondered if I can go back to the same size. I think I used to be 98-105lbs before but now I gained more after having two kids.

Kids..

Kids are silly, I was trying to get some sleep while they were playing with their dad early this morning, but they kept waking me up so had to get up, now I got up and awake, both of them went back to sleep because daddy left for work already. Whew, they... just woke me up for them to have some sleep... Poor mommy!

Trying to have some nap after but then Dimple was awake and had to play with her..

Swimming Day

Last Monday, we had a swimming gathering at a friends place. It was our day off of work so we had a good time together. We cooked barbecue ribs, noodles, grilled fish, adobo and of course rice. We had really so much fun. After the lunch, we ahd pictorials, which is always normal for a Filipino gathering.

Now, we are planning for another one before the cold season arrive.

Mis-understanding

It's been a tough week for me this week. We had arguments with my husband about something and I am missing somebody as well. Sometimes, I can't understand my husband but have to deal with it to avoid fighting each other. Now, he is change since I am losing some weight..LOL

In the other side, I have a friend who knows everything about me, every time I have problems or quarrel with my husband, she's the only one I can talk with and understands me well, but she is not available for the whole week to talk with so I have to deal all this problem by my self.

Well, I hope everything will be okay, and I know God is good.

FRIENDS

It's hard to understand some people sometimes. I met a lot of friends but you can't really sure who is true to you. I only choose those whom I think a real friends, there are some but not all. Some are just jealous of whatever you have or just jealous of "YOU". I can tell who are those friends but I don't really care, as long as I didn't do anything bad to them, then it will be fine for me.

I am just happy of where I am now especially that I have a great family.

My day with kids

It's been a long day to day. Went to visit a friend and had lunch at their house. The kids were playing while we were also busy watching The Filipino Chanel. I just love having a day off from work coz I can spend more time with kids.

Tomorrow will be back to work again and I can't wait for November because I will be having 2 weeks vacation again with pay so by Christmas I can spend more days with my family.

Saturday event!

It's a lazy morning for me today. I am just so tired and still feel so sleepy. My kids woke me up early so I had to get up early as well.

Last night we went to attend our friends B-day party, we had so much fun until there were some incedents happened where everybody were wondering whats going on. Well, I think it's none of our business to knew about it so we continued the fun. We were dancing, and singing karaoke.

Our friends cooked lots of food so I brought lots of food for home too. LOL

Exhausted

I was very exhausted last night when I worked 9 hours straight without even had a break or lunch. I supposedly got out at 9 pm but then my evening shift person didn't show up, so I ended up doing his works. I finished everything at about 11 pm and was very tired. When I cleaned up the over rack, I cut my finger, which make it even worst.

I hope I will be having a good luck today, because yesterday was a bad luck..

Off of work..

I am having a day off of work today. I was planning to go out to bring my kids in the play ground so that they can play, but later in the afternoon I felt so tired and lazy to go out so we decided to just stayed home.

I am very lazy now to go out especially going to the mall coz I know for sure I can spend money. LOL so during my day off I'd rather stay home so that I can save money.

Past days

I've been so busy lately and didn't have the chance to update my blog. I have so many stories to write her but I only have very limited time.

In this pas t weeks, we were mourning for the deaths of my niece and our uncles. It is very hard losing someone in your family but we all know everything happened for a reason. We know that they are now in God's kingdom and they are more safer there.

God is watching us

It was so sad when I heard a news from my family in the PH. that my cousins daugther Angel who had hydrocephalus had just past away. She was only 5 months old and it was really sad to think that she had to suffer that illness. When I went to to visit her, it was really and heart breaking watching her on her situation. Now, God called her and we know that she is in a good hand.

Bridges and streets

I thought hearing a story of people under bridge is only for television. I can't believe that I would encounter people living in street or under bridges. When I first herd the story it broke my heart and tears in my eyes, especially this happened to the person I know.

She's been out of their house for 2 weeks now and nowhere to go. She said, she's been sleeping under bridges and streets. It is really sad. We told her to go to the shelter where she can have at least a nice place to sleep.

I hope she will be fine and can find a place to stay. I can let her sleep in our house but not for forever since I also have kids to taking care of.

The headlines

Very confused today. I don't know why!. Well, it is another day that full of headlines. Micheal Jackson has passed at age of 50. Isn't that shocking!. I was really shocked yesterday when a co-worker told me the story. I couldn't believe it but it's true. That how you can tell "Life is too short" so enjoy every minute with your love ones and always tell them how much you love them. Never waste your time finding an enemy or making troubles, or else you'll regret it. You can't change everything once you're gone.

My niece with Hydrocephalus

Remember I was talking about hydrocephalus on my blog? So here is my cousin that I was talking about with her poor little baby Angel with hydrocephalus. When I first saw the baby, it broke my heart and couldn't even look at the baby but by looking the parents who tried to be strong to take care of this little girl, it gave me the strength to hold her.

I cried and can't imagine my self. I asked my self why this little baby has to suffer this way. It was very heart breaking.

Now,they take care of her and I'll pray to GOD that they will continue having a strength to face this trial in their lives and they won't get tired taking care of their little Angel.

It's been awhile that I haven't visit my blog because I was just so busy lately doing stuff at home. Now, I can start blogging again and share all my experiences everyday.

Two days ago my ex- boyfriend contacted me and expressing me all what he felt before when I abandoned him after meeting John. I knew he was hurt but he is moved on already. I was sorry for what I did but I told him that I didn't feel being loved from him. He just want to know why? So, I told him.

I even told John that I emailed him regarding the personal issues we had. John ( my husband) knows all about this, I want to be honest with him because I love him. It is just not right to keep secret from your husband. Now, everything is okay and w became friends again. I am happy that way because no reason to hate your exes.LOL

I love my family, my kids and my husband so no reason to be bother from the past.

Sharing some blessings

When we were in Dumaguete, one of our plan was to give party to the sick kids in the hospital. My husband and my sister went to visit the hospital where we were planning to give out parties and plan what else we can do to help the kids and make them happy. It was very funny because my husband and company has to go through all this department to ask permission about the party that we were planning. After all those permissions my husband went directly to the mall and bought some clothes, balloons for the kids. I went to the grocery in teh afternoon to get some food and drinks as well.

We went to the hospital on the following day and we gave party to the kids. I can see at my husband's eyes that he was so happy of what he was doing and it made me feel like he is a very good man. My daughter Ally held the last balloon and there was one kid who didn't get any. Ally gave it to the kid and the kid was sohappy. Ally has a good heart too like her dad. It's okay for herif she don't get any as long as everybody else has one.

Penny

I was so busy at work yesterday when I suddenly receive a phone call from my husband. I was wondering because he don't usually call me when I am at work unless it is very important. He called me because he was telling me that our daugther Dimple accidentally swallowed a penny. I was shock and so angry with him. I supposed to be off from work at 4 pm but I left at 2 pm. I need to go home to see to it if everything was okay with Dimple. I was so mad with my husband and my daugther Ally since she was the one playing the coin.

I was so nervous for the whole day and even at night I didn't have a good sleep knowing hat Dimple might be in pain. This morning Dimple poop, that was a relief because that means she is okay. At 8 am my husband brought her to the doctor to have an X-ray on her tummy to know if everything is okay inside, and thanks God, there was no penny on her tummy. My husband had a mistakes and thought Dimple swallowed the penny since he saw Dimple playing the penny and she put it on her mouth. We don't know what happen next but one thing we know for sure that Dimple is okay. No penny at all.

Finally here..

We, finally here in Dumaguete Philippines enjoying our vacation. I was away from my computer for a few days because we were so busy strolling around. Now I am back but can't spend much time to do blogging. I will post some photos soon.

Counting the days

I am now counting the days for our trip to the Philippines. As days getting closer feels like the days getting slower to come. Everything is ready now except some important stuff for the plane. Our luggages are ready only the fact that I can't bring more than I wanted to. International planes and domestic planes have different rules regarding to their free baggage allowance. It makes very difficult for us to pack our stuff.

Anyways, we will be leaving in nex tuesday and we are very excited now. Our family in the Philippines are also very excited to meet Ally and Dimple.

We pray that we'll be having a safe trip and everything will be okay.

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Argoncillo's private wedding

The news of the marriage of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo that happened on April 28, 2009 at Batangas shocked many people who were waiting for their formal announcement of their wedding day.

Juday and Ryan wanted to have a very solemn and private wedding that is why they kept it secret to some of their friends, and you can see all the respects from all the people involved on their wedding because they didn’t say anything or show any signs that Juday and Ryan will be getting married until it was over.

As they were interviewed on Showbiz news show, you can see the fun and joy between each other’s company. I never have seen Juday as happy as she is now with Ryan.

Rude people

Once in our lives, we may encounter rude people. Sometimes it's hard for us to understand them on what's going on. They are the kind of people who don't respect others and some show their rudeness by their action.

I encountered rude costumer today at work. She was very mean but I was trying to stay calm and nice to her. I gave her order and still she wasn't contented. She wanted to return it to get another one. So I gave her what she likes. Some costumers act like crazy just to get the product for free. We encounter many costumers like that. So after her order , I suggested her to try our new items if she want it but she told me that she didn't like the fact that I was suggesting her of something. I wondered what happen. She went to one of our managers and made a complain against me for what I did to her and so funny because we were all just laughing at her. I even told her that if she had a bad day she should just stay home so that she couldn't encounter an arguments with others.

Our managers came up to me and told me to just ignore her because maybe she just had a bad day. LOL. Too bad for her...

Scheduling

It was so funny because I was requesting a day off for Monday next week but I said May 3rd, I didn't know that Monday next week will be May 4Th. I supposed to have doctor's appointment with my OB but now I have to re schedule it since the May 3rd that my manager gave me off will be Sunday. I just realize that after I've seen our schedule for next week. LOL

I will be working more hours now for our trip to the Philippines. We only have 19 days more to save money but I know it will be okay. We already made some reservations for the hotels, ocean jet tickets and tours. I also made a reservation already for a pump boat for our whale watching good for 18 pax.

We hope and pray that everything will be okay. God is great!.

Having kids

Children is the most precious gift that God has given to a couple. A couple cannot be called a family without having kids. Later you feel empty withour having kids. It is very boring and seems like you don't have determinations after all the hand-work you do.

It took almost a year for me and my husband before getting pregnant but then a month after I got mis-carriage. It was tough and was very painful to us. I was so glad that my husband was with me all the time, comforted me and making it sure that I was okay. A month after my evacuate surgery we moved here in Texas from Pittsburgh. It was quite long drive but we made it.

We started wishing to have a baby again and we were hoping that it will be a successful pregnancy. Every night we prayed rosary and asked God for a baby, six months after I got pregnant with my Eldest daugther Ally. It was so funny at first because my husband didn't believe me that I was pregnant with Ally, when I told him that I had to get home pregnancy test, he just said, " No you are not pregnant, you are just wasting your money for HPT". I was just ignoring him and I still bought it and took a test at home. I was very happy and surprised, it was positive. I gave him a phone call and told him it was positive. I can tell by his voice that he was so happy and very excited. Now, we have two adorable daughters and they are the best gift from God. Everything has change after having kids. We are happier than ever. Our kids gives us strength and have focus in our lives. They are our inspiration and they complete us.

My husband works in a warehouse. He is using heavy machines everyday so he needs some shoes that could protect his feet in case if the heavy equipments will fall on his feet. Roosters

One of my dad's collections in the Philippines is rooster, not just an ordinary rooster but the high breed one. He spends almost 3,000 pesos a week for food, medicine and vitamins for the roasters. He has like 30 plus different breed of rooster. Every time when he comes home from work, he'll go directly to his roosters. My mom will get jealous sometime but she understands.

Last night I made a phone call to them because we had some important thing to discuss about our trip back there and my mom told me that papa lost 6 roosters. It was Friday April 24th around 1 am while everybody was sleeping somebody stole the 6 roosters. When my dad woke up and checked his roosters, there were 6 already been missing and the 6 of those will costs around 24,000 pesos. My dad was very sad and right away he put fence on our backyard. We didn’t expect that will happen but now my dad learn his lessons. We didn't put fence before because we are all family in one compound, my dads' brothers and sisters and their families but you'll never know what's going to happen. Bad people are just around us so now they are more careful. I told my dad not to worry because God is watching everybody. He said he is not sad about the money he lost, but he is sad about the roosters he lost.

Errands

I slept late last night because I had so many errands to finished. I woke up 7 am and do some chores. I had to put my baby to bath, fed them and left to go Cheryl's house to drop something for our daugther's friends b-day party. I feel bad that I couldn't come to the party because of my work but I know my friend will understand. I just really need to work this weekend because I've been requesting weekend off for the past 3 weeks.

I hope I can join in the next gathering.

My husband was trying to be organized about all the list of places where we want to visit in the Philippines when our kids were both crying. I was talking to him on the phone and I also hear our kids crying. My husband told me how difficult it is to watch them while doing some important stuff at the same time. The dif. between my two coach purses

When I bought this other brown coach purse, some of my friend said that the color is just the same as my first one. I agree with them because when you look at it individually it really looks the same but when you look at it together you can tell the difference.. The new one has lighter color than the first one. New Passport

I am so happy today when I receive my new Philippine passport because that means,,we are confirmed about our trip to the Philippines. It didn't really take long time to renewed my passport, it only took 5 weeks to receive it since I applied for it. Now, we are just 3 weeks away for our vacation and I cannot really wait for it. I am just very excited and I hope everything will be okay. We will be visiting many places with my family so that will be very fun.

I already made a reservation for some of our tours and hotels in some places but need to do more. It is very tiring but very exciting.

Me and my kids went to Premium outlet again today and bought this very cute guess sandal and a coach purse. I hate going to the mall because I can't resist my self not to buy anything I want. I've been wasting so much money lately so now I have to focus again on our vacation to the Philippines next month so I need to save my money again now. I promise my self that I will not go anywhere in the month of May beacuse I will prepare that money for Philippines.

Just simply being meh...

Don't do unto others what you don't want others do unto you. I love that qoute. I've experienced being creticized before because of the weight I gain after having my youngest baby. I was having hard time to do diet because I need to eat to get more energy for my full time job and to taking care of my two kids at the same time. Someone told me that I am fat and ugly which it didn't really bother me because I am so happy with my life and contented with it. My husband told me to ignore the people who are very insecure of their lives and just continue doing of why I was doing. After several months now I lose 15 lbs. I didn't really do hard to lose the weigh but it's just happened. I can now wear my old clothes and it feels like God is with me. We don't see God but God sees us in everything we do. To the person who creticized me, I hope you will not gain so much weight because it will come back to you on what you have said about me.

I was really having fun this morning with my daughter Dimple. Ally and her Dad went out to refill our coca-cola machine business while me and Dimple were also out to Premium outlet. We were soaked and wet from the heavy rain. Dimple was just laughing all the time because it seems like she loves the moment that she was being bathe from the rain. It was pretty heavy rain but it didn't stop me to go shopping. LOL. My husband called me on my cell and asked me where we were because he called on our land line but I didn't answer him so he was wondering what happen and where we were. I told him that we were at 290 with dimple. He was shocked that I left home and drove to the mall even if the rain was so heavy. I don't know why, I am the type of person that if I want something ,I should get it right away, I don't want to wait for the next day. hehehhehe. Oh well, that what all we did today. I bought this coach purse today. I love the design and the color especially for our vacation in the Philippines because the color is really for summer time. Hope you like it too.

To our friend Glenna

When I arrived to work today my manager told me that my friend Glenna will maybe quit working with us because she finally found a full-time job. She was only working part-time at our department so she was trying to look for a full time job and thankfully she found one. So, she supposed to work tomorrow but she told our manager that she couldn't make it because she will be having her second interview tomorrow for her new job.
But then, our manager told me that if ever Glenna will call back our store again, I will just tell her that she don't need to worry about her schedule if maybe she couldn't make it to work with us anymore because our manager already gave it to the other employee.

I am so happy for Glenna that now she can work full-time. We hope that everything will be okay in your new job and thank you for the short time that you were working with us. It was fun working with you. We hope tha tshe also had fun working with us. LOL

Halloween Costumes

It is very intruiging to me this gorilla Halloween costume because it is very scary, very nice and very gorilla looking. It will be a very great Halloween costume for every adults.

Last year’s Halloween was very disappointing Halloween for me because I did not have the chance to get my daughter’s Halloween Costumes. My husband kept telling me to get it ahead of times but I didn’t listen to him. I waited for the last minute until I couldn’t find any outfit for my 2 years old daughter. I went to four different stores looking for her outfit but there were no sizes that will fit for my daughter. There was one store that has the size for my daughter but I had to fall in a very long line just to order the outfit. That was really ridiculous.
I learn my lesson from that experienced. I will get their Halloween costume now ahead of time so that I will not be worry anymore when the next Halloween comes.

In this website called costume cauldron I found the outfit that I like for my two daughters. I love the Barbie Swan Lake costume for my 2 years old daughter and a baby minnie for my 9 months old baby. The Swan Lake costume is very simple but very cute. I love the dress design and I’m sure my baby will look so cute on her Halloween costume. I also love the baby Minnie since my little baby really love Mickey and Minnie show. The outfit looks very cute and I can’t wait for my daughter to wear it. Missed the chance

My sister told me that my brother text her telling her that they will be going back to India now. He said, they have been to Houston port for just 2 days and did not have the chance to see me. He was trying to contact me but he couldn't reach me, maybe I was just so high that time, that's why he couldn't reach me. LOL.

I felt really bad that I didn't make an effort to call him while they were in Houston port,besides, how would I know that they've been to Texas already where he didn't even tell us or text us that they were here. Oh,well maybe it wasn't the right time yet that we'll see each other again. Now, they will be travelling for 40 days going to India, so I pray that they will be having a safe travel. The day that they will arrive to India will also be the day that we will arrive in Dumaguete. Hmmm... very exciting.

My husband has a mountain bike that he hasn’t use now for a while. Now, I wanted to use it but something is broken in the handle bars. I keep telling him to buy the parts so that I can use it but he always said that he is busy. He don't have the time to go out and get it. Early this morning we went to premium outlet in Houston. We went straight to coach outlet store and find the bag that I wanted. They have so many new bags choices but I had to stick on what I really need for our travel to Philippines. I needed something that its very comfortable to use for our daily use there. And yes, I found it, I bought it and my friend Disa also bought one. Our two friend Sheryl and Cecile weren't really sure if they want one too so they went to a different outlet store instead. The place is quite far from where we live, it took us almost an hour to get there but it was worthy, hehehehe. Now I am happy that I got it.

Pregnancy

When I was pregnant with my first child, I was very curious in everything I experienced. My appetite changed a lot.
Having nausea made me think I was pregnant. I had a very bad morning sickness; everything I was trying to eat made me throw-up. I couldn’t cook anything because all the spices smelt so bad to me. I didn't know what to do and asked my self, is this, what morning sickness feels like?
It was very weird feeling and if I wanted to eat something it should be there right away or else I cried. I easily got mad and it seems like it was too much for me. Is this really what pregnant women do? Or is it just me? I was just so glad that my husband was very understanding especially on my situation.Two months before my delivery I was already busy searching for our baby girl's name. I had so many choices but I love the name Alysa so we named her Alysa.
When our daughter arrived, it was the happiest day of my life. It made me cry when I first saw her and feel so proud of my self to have her, is this how the mom feels like for their child? The love of parents for their kids is unconditional and the moment we shared together is priceless.

Outlet Mall

I am planning to go outlet mall today to get another coach purse but my husband wants me to be home at 2 pm because we'll be going out to get a passport for our kids. I don't think that will be enough time for me to travel to outlet mall because it will take me almost an hour to get there.Oh well, maybe I will just go there next time or this coming Saturday so that I can just leave my kids with my husband. It's hard to bring our kids all the time because we can't be concentrate on our shopping and we'll be spending much time chasing them than our shopping. hahaha

Buying a new computer set.

I am planning to get a computer set for my parents in the Philippines when we get there. I told my sister to go look for cheaper one but the cheapest one they saw will cost me at least $500.00. It is kind of expensive but I still maybe have to buy it because I spend too much on phone cards. Last year I spent like almost $1000.00 just for phone cards and that is too much. I didn't realize that until I added up everything I spent for phone cards. If ever I will buy them a computer set, I can save a little money because I will only pay the monthly payment for Internet connection which probably cost $20.00 a month.

Tuesday off

We had lunch at the house yesterday with Cecille and Glenna after we went to Viet Hoa. I cooked beef soup with boksoy and fish stew(Paksiw na isda). It was very good lunch and we all enjoyed it. At 2 pm they left because me and my husband had to go and apply a passport for our kids.

We went to the post office at grant lakes Sugar Land but their office hours is only from 10 am to 2 pm, so we were already late when we get there because we arrived at almost 3 pm. It's okay, we still have enough time and we will be applying again next week. It will only takes 1-2 weeks to get it so that will be enough time.

About our Philippines trip

We cancelled our Bohol trip and going to Baguio instead. It is beacuse of we never been to Baguio yet and many of our friends told us that it is also pretty cool in there. Since we went to Bohol already, now it's time to visit different places. We also plan to go Boracay, not confirmed yet but that is one of many places that we want to visit. This will just depend on our budget, especially we will be bringing our parents with us. It is very exciting and I know we will be having so much fun in this trip.

Work

I had to train Glenna today at work, one of my new friend. She did good perhapds I didn't need to watch her all the time coz it seems like she already knew what she was doing. We had fun and it feel so good when you have friend working with you.

We'll be both off tomorrow and we are planning to get some filipino groceries. I hope I will not feel lazy to go out so that we can go.

Saturday party!

We had so much fun yesterday at our freind's daugther's birthday party. Almost all of the PPM members were there and it was nice that we gathered again. It's been awhile that we didn't see each other due to a busy scheduled. Almost all PPM members are working now so everybody is busy in their own lives so if ever we have free time, we will spend it to our family first since we can't even have much time for them.
Everybody were acting like a kid yesterday. We were jumping on a big moonwalk balloon instead of our kids, hehehehe. Our friend Cheryl, cooked so many delicious filipino dish so it felt like we were in the Philippines. After eating we even had to go food, which this always happen in every Filipino party.hahaha.
Now, we are looking forward to the next party for Jasmine's 3rd birthday party and I'm sure everybody will come and we'll see each other again.

Losing weight

Wow! I can't believe I lose weight that fast. I used to be 145 lbs. after giving birth to my youngest daughter 8 months ago and now I weigh 129 lbs. I love it especially we will go back to the Philippines for a vacation. My goal is 120 lbs at least, hehehe. I used to wear size 9 jeans and now I am wearing size 4 or 5 and sizes medium or small blouses. Everybody at work ask me on how did I lose weight that fast, they wonder why I needed to lose weight. I told them that I don't really need to lose much weight; I just want to gain more confident for my self. I can wear now some of my old clothes so that means I don’t have to buy new ones again.

My day at work!

It's been a long day for me today at work. I had to train two new workers, it's always hard to train new people , again and again but we needed more help this time. Now, with this 3 new hired people for our department, I can tell that they are the kind of workers that we've been waiting for, a good and responsible individual. It was very hard for me to train 2 co-workers at the same time but I still managed it well, ( what else I can do) hehehe. Everything went good and they were very fast learner. The time went so fast and I even forgot to have a dinner. I will be over 40 hours this week but maybe I will go home early tomorrow.

My friend Glenna also started her actual training today and I didn't have the chance to train her because she was scheduled today to work in the morning while I am always schedule to work in the evening. We saw each other for an hour then she left. I would love to train her and I hope one day we will be working together coz that would be so much fun..

Evaluation again..

It's my evaluation time again at work and it's my raise time again,lol. It feel so good when your manager give you a good evalutaion because that means, you are a good worker. Now my manager realized how I deserve to have a good ratings at work, lol even if we always had arguments before. We experienced so many things as a workers and we had ups and downs but in spite of all those arguments we had, it is still ended up good because now we became friends. I am so glad that she find me as a comfortable co-worker to talk all about what's going on at work especially about secret stuff. I work almost 4 years now in that company and each day is a different day for me. I learn new things every day. As what my husband said, "as long as we are still alive, we never stop learning".

Now, they trust me to train new workers who works nights time since I am a night person. One of my duty is to see to it that we have enough productions for the whole day and for the following day. I am assigned also to tell my co-workers what they needed to be done every single day and I have to see to it that they do their work good, if not I will never stop telling them to do it again. It is a very challenging job because you'll never know if your co-workers be mad at you for telling them what to do because me, my self I hate to be told what to do, but it still came out good because they respect me and they even like working with me.

Everytime my manager do the evaluation for the night person she ask me first how this people work their job because she base their evaluaiton to what I will tell her since they are working with me. I just love my job and happy with it. It is fun and at the same time I can have break from my kids while earning some $$$.

Another day at work

It's another day at work today and I only worked 8 hours. It was not really bad because in the past days I left like an hour early almost every night during work days. Tonight is something different, though we were not so busy but there were still things needs to be done to stay and get 8 hours shift. I just love my schedule working at night time because when I get home from work, everybody is sleeping already and I don't need to do anything than blogging. In that way I can have a peaceful time.

Plane tickets arrived today

Oh wow! Our Plane tickets for Philippine trip arrived today and it makes me even more excited. I can't wait but I have to. I am packing some stuff already that we need especially my kids stuff like milks, bottles, diapers, wipes, blankets and other stuff that they really need in the plane. That will be a very long flight and I don't want to forget something that we need coz that would be very hard. I'm sure Dimple won't stop crying if I will forget her milk or Ally won't be comfortable if I don't have diapers and wife to be used when she need it. hehehe

Newly met friend and new job

I had a great day off yesterday with my kids and friends. We went to Memorial mall and had a playdate with our kids. We had fun so as our kids. Then we dropped by jcpenny and bought some blouses and slacks. They had a great deal which you can save $10 dollars when you spend $50.00. I was supposedly looking for a luggage bag for our trip to Philippines but their prices online are different from the store. It is more expensive in the store. After the mall we went to ROSS and had a great deal with my luggage bag. It is Nautica brand 27" for only 59.99, not bad at all because in the department store I will be paying $260.00 for the same exact luggage bag. They have so many choices and I was attracted on this brand NAUTICA so I bought it.

We went home after and at home my friends Cecille and Glenna were staying quite while and we were cooking (Champorado)-it is a sweet rice cooked like a soup with cocoa and milk. We had a great time yesterday and we are planning to go other places on my next day off.

Soon, it will be very difficult for us to go out together when Cecille and Glenna will start working because we will not be having the same day for off. I recommend them to work where I work and without any doubts they both hired right away. Next week my friend Glenna will start her training on the computer about what she will be doing on her job and after that I will train her manually. I hope Cecille will be assign on the same department where me and Glenna assigned so that it will be more fun.

It is fun to go to work and it will be more fun to go shopping when you are using your own money. I love shopping that is why I am working to support my hobby. I am just glad that my husband understand me and never complain about spending every time I go out. Perhaps I used his money to pay for the luggage I bought yesterday. hehehe. He is very supportive financially and emotionally. I am just so LUCKY and BLESSED.

Opps, pregnant again!!!

I was so nervous last night at work when I felt having nausea. I thought I was pregnant again. I went to the office and talked to one of our manager, asking about where I can find the home pregnancy test since they transferred it from where they used to put it. They were shocked and told me " Are you pregnant again?" I said I wasn't sure yet that's why I need some pregnancy test to make it sure. Our front in supervisor gave me a pregnancy test and they were very excited to know the result but I wasn't though I was nervous because I wasn't really prepare yet to have another one.
When I came home, I right away used the pregnancy test and it came out negative, OH!! what big relief. hehehe. Now, I will be more careful and take my pills everyday because I used to skipped taking it before. It's not that we don't want anymore kids, It is just we want everything will ready for the third baby, because my youngest one is only 8 months old and we want to spend more time with her first to have another one. Three kids will be enough for us so one more to go in 2 years from now.

My Monday off

We went home from Dallas at 1:40 in the morning. My husband had to call in from work and did work on our business. I am glad I was off yesterday too so I had some rest. At noon time we went out with friends and had lunch at Cheryl. She made some soups and we just bought some roasted chicken. We had fun at Cheryl's house and after our lunch we went to the store. I was planning to get some more luggage bag but I couldn't decide it yet when we were there. Cheryl told me that it will be more cheaper if I will get it from the department stores when they will be having a sale. It was a good idea since the luggage bag that I was interested in those store was kinda expensive.

Our Dallas trip!

We went to Dallas yesterday for the renewal of my Philippine passport. We drove about 10 hours back and port. It was really a long drive and it was only my husband who drove from Houston to Dallas. We left the house at 12:00 noon and arrived there about 5 pm. We were tired but we were excited to finished my passport. I was the first person who came for 6-7pm scheduled and I noticed that people who were schedule from 5-6pm were still not done yet so I went back to the car and fed my baby. My husband went to check the people in line again and they told my husband that they didn't follow the numbers from the consulate office because they said it was first come first serve. So, John was in hurry to get back to the car since I was there waiting and told me that they didn't based on the number assigned but the people who came in first will be serve first too. So, I was in hurry to went to the office and wow!, I was the last person. hehehe. It was very frustrating at first but when I had my turn, everybody were clapping their hands, not because of me but because of I was the last person to be serve so that means they can go home after me. heehehe. Everybody were so nice, and they helped me. They wanted me to get the voters registration but I said no, but still the person who were assigned to do it was the one who filled up the form for me and all I did was to put my signature. They even gave me discounts for the passport and ROM payments since we both did not have change and the all the photo copy I had from them was free. It was so bad travelling that far but everything went great when we got there.

I met Charmaine, the Vice Consul, Philippine Consulate General, LA. She was very nice woman and she was entertaining my daughter Ally. She kept telling me that my kids are both beautiful. She was so fascinated with Ally's beauty. I am so proud for my kids.

Now I will only have to wait for 2 to 6 weeks to receive my passport.

Friend Jane our new co-worker

I was surprised today when almost all of my co-workers told me that they hire new people which is my friend. At first, I really didn't have the idea who was she because I could not think of anybody. During my break time, my co-worker Anna who hired her told me " I hired your friend! and I asked her who was she, and she said her name is Mary Jane. I didn't know anybody named Mary Jane but I know somebody name Jane. So, I was thinking that it could be Jane since Cristina also told me that maybe Jane will apply for a job from where I work.

So, I called Cristina and asked her Jane's number. I called up Jane and asked her if she was the, that my co-workers were talking about, and Yah, It's her. She will be working the same place where I work but different department. I told her, if she would have told me that she wants to work there, I could just recommend her and we can work at the same department together. It would be so much fun especially that I am the assigned trainer person for new hired workers.

Well, it's too late now but she will try to convince them to transfer to our department on Monday when she will go back there. Hopefully they will let her. hehehehe

Laid off from work

Being laid off from work is very difficult especially to those family who have kids. I heard many stories from a costumers where I work that many of their co-workers had been laid off. They told us how lucky we are that we still have jobs. I feel bad for it and I know it is very hard for a family to survive without a jobs. The economy is really struggling now and I hope it will not getting worst.

To those people who still have their job, you are so lucky and be thankful that you have it instead of complaining about it. I know some people who are complaining about their jobs because it is not the one that they wanted to do, but hey, you are blessed that you have a job. Now, I can tell my self that I am so lucky too to have a job that I have now which I love to do as well. I will really taking care of it and I hope that those people who have been laid off will find a new job because living in America without job is very hard.

Doing chores late at night!

I just finished ironing the clothes and now time to blog. I had a peaceful time on doing my chores because everybody are asleep. I can only do all this stuff when my kids are sleeping because it is hard to do it when they are awake, especially Ally, I can't be finish. Her dad call her a little tornado because even if I just clean up the living room, 5 minutes after, you will see all Ally's toys again scattered in our living room floor.

It's 11:30 in the evening and I am still wide awake. I don't know why but maybe my body is used of going to sleep late at night because of my work hours.

I will be going back to work again tomorrow and I hope Dimple will feel better so that I can drop them off at my friend's house and if not, I guess John has to come home early. I don't want to drop off my kids to my friends house when they are sick because I know how hard it is to taking care of a sick kids but I am so glad that my friend Sheryl is very understanding. It is so hard to find somebody to watch your kids, because this is matter of "TRUST" but I am so thankful that I met Sheryl, she is so good to our kids and I trust her for that. Without her help , I could not go back to work full time. So, thanks to Sheryl and her family.

My Thursday!

It is cold and rainy outside today and I was planning to get something for pasalubong( souvenir) to my family and friends back in the Philippines but I ended up staying home. I hate going out during rainy days especially with my two kids. My baby Dimple also is sick so I can't go anywhere. She have a fever since last night. When I got home from work, she was crying because she was hungry and when I picked her up she was so hot. So, I fed her and took her temperature after and it was 99.8. It wasn't really a high fever but it was high enough to make me worried. Being a mom, you don't want to see your kids sick. That is the hardest part of being a parent.

Dimple is still sick today, maybe because she is teething. She keep rubbing her gums. She was just crying all the time and I didn't have a chance to do the chores. I just held her all day today.

I hope tomorrow when she wakes up, she will feel better.

Itinerary for our Philippine's vacation

Thursday - We will arrive in Dumaguete Airport.

Friday - Rest the whole day.

Saturday- Watch the Santa cruzan parade in our City.

Sunday- Going to Church at Dumaguete Cathedral in morning and play basketball and volleyball in the afternoon.

Monday - Whale watching with my family

Tuesday- Leaving for Bohol with our parents and friends.

Wednesday- Visits all the tourist attraction in bohol like, the chocolate hills,Loboc river boat, tarsier, the hanging bridge and of course the old churches.

Thursday- Continuation for Bohol Tour.

Friday - Leaving for Cebu with our parents and friends.

Saturday- Cebu tour. Visiting all the tourist attraction in Cebu, like the Magellan's cross, Guitar factory, Magellans monument, maybe do parasailing.

Sunday- Continuation for Cebu tour.

Monday- Back to Dumaguete and I stay there for the rest 2 weeks.

Booking our tickets to Philippines

We booked our tickets today for our vacation in the Philippines. We will travel on weekend back in USA so it costs us more than what I posted before. We paid $1,210 for adults, $965 for child and $370 for infant. It makes me feel like not going for a vacation anymore since all the tickets were so expensive but my husband told me it's okay. He said that I deserve it. I am so lucky to have such a great man to be my husband and very supportive. Now we are just 2 months away for our vacation and it will be so much fun.

Sunday Chores

Sunday noon time and we had lunch time. I was in the bedroom feeding my baby while my husband and Ally were in the kitchen eating their lunch. They had Pizza. I can't stand with Pizza only for a meal so I cooked rice and pork stew ( Humba). After feeding my baby, I went out to the living room and my husband was playing his game already in the computer. I asked him if they were done with their lunch. He said yes and I have to be quite because Ally was sleeping. I was wondering how that happen that Ally was asleep were before I went to the bedroom feeding my baby, I knew that they both were in the kitchen eating Pizza.

So I went to the kitchen and saw Ally sleeping on her high-chair. I was laughing and can't believe she fell asleep while eating. She did sleep for 20 minutes and when she woke up, she continued eating her Pizza. She is so funny. She must be tired because early in the morning, she and her dad cleaned the front yard. They took all the weeds since our plants were almost being covered with weeds.

I will buy some seeds of a plants to plant at our backyard. I should sure get all the Philippine vegetables seeds and plant it.

Surprised text!

I was surprised when my sister text me and told me that my brother who is working in a ship right now will be going to New Orleans. They will be having a route to USA which is very good news because maybe one of this days they will dock in Galveston port. I was surprised because as what my brother told me before he join to this ship where he is working right now, that they will be routing around Asia only and their captain surprised them that they also go here in the US. He is an electrical engineer and now working in a ship as an electrician. He love his job as a seaman because that is his dream job. He used to work at PNOC and NAPOCOR before when he was in the Philippines. He had many offer in those two big companies but he still dreaming of working abroad as a seaman. God is good and God granted his dream.

So now me my brother have a deal that when we get back home in the Philippines, he will be the one to buy some pigs for roasting because I was the one who bought it when he was there when he had vacation. That will be a big help for us especially pigs for roasting in the Philippines now are very expensive. He also told me to just tell him if we need something. I am so lucky to have a loving family and I know they are also lucky that they have a sister like me, hehehe. I am so proud of my family especially to our parents because they were really striving hard to gave us enough education and what we have now and where we are now are the results of their sacrifices they made before.

Tickets

I had a busy day today at home. I am just so excited for our vacation in the Philippines this May. I was contacting many agencies to find a better prices for our tickets. I found one that is affordable. Flying with Cathay Pacific for $1185 adults and child will be $950 and infant is $335 are not bad at all. I can't wait to get there.

We made a deal with my husband, he is gonna be the one who will buy the tickets for us and I will be the one who take charge of all the expenses that we will be making in the Philippines. Who do you think got a good deal? hehehe, I think me because tickets are expensive whereas me, I will choose to stay in our parent's house to save our money, hahaha. So, I will not spend money for hotels anymore.

Hopefully everything will be okay on our travel. God is good and I've been good lately. hehehe.

Plans to do during my day off tomorrow

Tomorrow will be my off day from work. We are planning to bring our kids to a play area in a mall. I am sure Ally will like the idea we have because she loves to play with other kids. She will just cry so easy but she'll stop so easily too. Me and my kids, Cecille, Sheryl, and her kids will spend the whole day tomorrow at the mall play area. That will be so much fun.

After a long days of work, I finally have time to play with my kids. Actually, people at work wants me to come in to work tomorrow but I can't do it because I will be having too much overtime. I already have almost 40 hours so it's hard for me to work some more hours.They don't want to pay us too much over time because it will more than our regular rate. That will time and half payment.

Sometimes I need to stay home also. I bought some wall frame for my kids bedroom but I don't have time to put it. I am always busy everyday and I can't even have time to relax but I like the way it is because I like keeping myself busy everyday.

Family and savings

After church this morning, I had to cooked for my family's lunch. I baked salmon and chicken. I also cooked soem rice and brocoli with cheese as a side dish. Ally ate the rice and the chicken, and she told me,
mama it's delicious! Isn't she sweet? Even if she don't like the food I cook sometimes, she'll still tell me that it's good. I am so blessed for my two adorable kids. She ate rice (her favorite food) and my husband John ate the baked salmon seasoned with rosemary and garlic. They loved it and it makes me feel good when my family love the food I cook.

Having dinner together is one of my happiest event at home because it is very unusual for us to set down and eat together. Me and John don't have the same schedule for work so, when he is home, I am at work, then when I am home, he is at work. There are some days that we don't see each other, like when he is leaving for work, I am still sleeping and when I come home from work, they are already asleep. It was so hard at first but we are getting use to it now. He didn't want me to work before but I wanted to because I was used of working and earning money since I was still in the Philippines. It is just very different when you are holding your own money from your own sweat of hardwork. Now, I know how to value our money, unlike before, I just spent it without even thinking if it was really important to spend it. I learned many thing since I started working. I learned how to control my spending and learned how to save money. Saving money is very important especially this time that or country is facing of economiv crisis. You will never know until when you can work with your current job because you'll never know when is your company can survive the crisis.

So, if you think that you need to spend your money, then save it, in that way you have something to use for when you need it.

Sunday, God's day

It's Sunday and time for God. We will be going to church today and spend time for God. It makes me feel good every after attending mass. My husband keep complaining every time we go to church. He can't concentrate to what the Priest's sermon, because we can't go as close to the altar where he wanted to set. We have to stay at the cry room where all the kids are very noisy. If there are Sundays that we couldn't go to church, we will just PRAY rosary at night time. It's better that way beacuse we can be focus and concentrate.

So, We will be getting ready now, and I will PRAY to those who have hatred in their hearts and tho those who are always get jealous of anybody's success. May the Lord Almighty enlighten your mind and thoughts always and may you have PEACE in your heart.
